MENA Agro Business Committee Formed

During the last AmCham MENA Council meeting that took place in Jordan on the 27th of July, 2009, members where AmCham Lebanon took over the chairmanship of the Council and AmCham Tunis the Vice Chairmanship, the decision has been taken to form regional committees that tackle essential issues in the Middle East and North Africa.

The first committee to be formed is the Agro-Food Business Committee. The Committee will be chaired by Mr. Arslan Sinno, Vice President for Membership at AmCham Lebanon and President of Dora Flour Mills SAL & ZM Vegetable Oils Industries SAL.

The first member to join the committee is Mr. Mohamed Bataineh, Chairman of AmCham Jordan. If you are involved in this sector and/or are interested in any related subjects, please don't hesitate to contact us to become a member of the Agro-food Business Committee.

Once we have your input, we will set up meeting or conference call to discuss a working plan for the next year.
